Hope Smiles lowers costs by pairing seasoned dentists with licensed practitioners who are just starting their careers. They also organize community "Free Dental Days" where volunteers, hygienists, and dentists team up to provide basic, free dental procedures to those who cannot afford care.
The Mid-South Mission of Mercy (MidMOM) is a free, two-day dental clinic for underserved and underinsured people—including both children and adults—living in Memphis and the surrounding Mid-South area. Since 2016, they have provided millions of dollars of free dentistry with the help of thousands of volunteers.
